About The Oyster Bar
This downtown St. Pete seafood tavern was established in 1999. Since then, it has become the pinnacle of seafood spots in the area.
The Oyster Bar’s primary mission is to offer the freshest seafood, quality meat, and poultry to its patrons. That’s right, they have something for everyone.
Continue below to see what delicious offerings they have in store for you!
The Oyster Bar Menu
The Rockefeller “Esque” Oysters are a must-have if you visit The Oyster Bar during brunch. These freshly shucked oysters are topped with house-smoked cream cheese, spinach, citrus gremolata, and garnished with fresh chives.
If you’re dropping in for lunch, the Bisque & Grilled Cheese is a must-try. Respectfully, this is not your mother’s grilled cheese. ; ) This sandwich features crème fraiche and cheddar cheese between two slices of toasty ciabatta bread. De-lish!
Surely, this seafood tavern has something for land lovers as well! The stand-out dinner entrée is the Caramelized Fig BBQ Ribs. These saucy, succulent ribs are paired with a purple potato salad, charred broccoli, and butternut squash puree.

HIGHLIGHTS
Enjoy fresh, hand-shucked oysters at the ultimate seafood tavern in DTSP. The Oyster Bar menu also features land-lover entrées, draft beer, and premium wines.
The Oyster Bar Drink Menu
The most exciting items on the drink menu are the Oyster Shooters. If you’ve never heard of these before, they're exactly what they sound like! An oyster shooter is a type of specialty shot that includes an oyster, a spirit, and other complimenting flavors.
Undoubtedly, you must try the Hangover Oyster Shooter. It’s crafted with a savory-acidic balance of vodka, Bloody Mary mix, and horseradish.
How to Enjoy an Oyster
Oysters are light, slightly creamy, and have an elegant sea-like aroma. If you’ve never had them before, you may be wondering how to enjoy them.
The best way to eat an oyster is directly from the shell. Use a fork to loosen it, then gently press the shell to your lips and slurp away.
Also, chewing is up to you. Some diners enjoy swallowing these ocean delicacies in one quaff. Others prefer to chew them a bit to release more of their beautiful oceanic flavors. So, we’ll leave it up to you!
